Going back to questions around Oracle Fusion HCM, the reality I don't see talked about a lot is the fact that Fusion HCM will be based on the E-business suite schema (we now know)and that PL/SQL code will be retained, especially in the areas of benefits and global payroll. Moreover, Fusion will only support the Oracle database until such time as they would choose to deliver a complete re-write of core EBS business logic.

Those are all good points. I will point out though that Oracle is doing more than just upgrading EBS to run the latest Fusion Middleware. They are fundamentally rethinking certain core principles in EBS based on IP from PeopleSoft. Things like organization structure management, person data model, date effectivity, organizational hierarchies (Trees)look like they will be changing.
